Wine and The Body
I love red wine. Drinking red wine is one of my favorite ways to have me time. I enjoy the taste of red wine and the feeling I get from drinking it. It also makes me feel classy!
I was so happy to learn that my favorite indulgence comes with a few health benefits. I understand that wine should be consumed in moderation. It is important to note that these benefits are reaped when wine is consumed in moderation.

1. Wine contains Reservatol.
Reservatol occurs naturally in some fruits and nuts. It is also found in red wine. Reservatol may enhance performance during exercise by improving heart function and muscle strength according to a study conducted by the University of Alberta.
According to a study conducted by Texas A&M, Reservatol might also help prevent age-related memory impairment.
2. Wine keeps your blood pumping!
Polyphenpols, a special antioxidant found in red wine, promotes healthy blood flow and may prevent blood clots according Dr. John Folts, professor nutrition and cardiovascular medicine at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
