A Holistic Approach to Wellness
About Me
My name is Amber ANN and I am the creator of OrgANNic Mind and Body, LLC! I am in the process of rebranding! Thank you for your grace as I prepare to launch my new site and brand identity in February 2021!
I am very passionate about holistic health and wellness. I believe that food is the basis of health and wellness and that maintaining mental health is key to wellness. I have been fortunate to study in two fields that complement my interests and to have work experiences that have allowed me to put my passion in to practice.
I have my Master's in Clinical Social Work and my Master's in Public Health with a concentration in health promotion and behavior. I am also a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and a Certified Health Education Specialist (C.H.E.S.) I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Social (DSW) at The University of Pennsylvania. I am very passionate about holistic health and wellness. I hope the use this site to share that passion!
I have experience providing integrated counseling services and health education to promote mental health and wellness. I have also worked with the USDA Farm to School Program as Program Coordinator and with the Share our Strength Cooking Matters Program as Program Coordinator and Facilitator.
I am currently working as a medical social worker. I provide care coordination, resource connection, counseling and health education services to patients that are uninsured, have complex social issues and chronic health conditions. I enjoy sharing my skills and passion with this population and working in the healthcare setting!
I am also a Barre instructor. Barre has transformed my fitness level, boosted my confidence and has promoted my overall health and wellness. I am excited that Barre is part of the OrgANNic Mind and Body service line. Check out the Barre tab under services for more information.
I hope to share my passion for and experiences with holistic health on this website!
